working principle:
Photoresistor is a special resistor made of semiconductor materials such as sulfide or selenide. Its working principle is based on the internal photoelectric effect. As the light intensity increases, the resistance value decreases rapidly. Since the carriers generated by the light are involved in conduction, they drift under the action of the external electric field. The electrons rush to the positive electrode of the power supply, and the holes rush to the negative electrode of the power supply. The resistance of the photoresistor drops rapidly. When there is no light, it is almost in a high-resistance state and has a large dark resistance.

Instructions for use:
The digital DO output can directly drive our relay module, which can form a light-controlled switch. The analog AO can be connected to the AD module, and through AD conversion, the value of the ambient light intensity can be obtained. When the ambient light brightness does not reach the set threshold, the DO terminal outputs a high level. When the external ambient light brightness exceeds the set threshold, the DO terminal outputs a low level. The detection brightness can be adjusted through the potentiometer. Turn the potentiometer clockwise to increase the detection brightness; adjust the potentiometer counterclockwise to decrease the detection brightness.
