1: Supply voltage 3.2V~5.5V. ( If the module needs to work in the transmitting state , it is recommended to connect a 1N4007 diode in series when the power supply voltage exceeds 4.5V to avoid heating of the module’s built-in LDO )

2 : Default communication distance (tested in open field): about 600m (the communication distance can be adjusted up to 1000m, air baud rate 5000bps).

3: Default idle current: 16MA (the working current of the module is different in different working modes).

4: Module size: 27.8mm×14.4mm×4mm.

5: Working frequency range ( 433.4-473.0MHz , up to 100 communication channels ) Large 100mW transmit power (can be set )

The HC-12 module has three serial port transparent transmission modes, represented by FU1, FU2 and FU3. When in use, all modes are just to send and receive serial port data, without caring about the wireless transmission part in the air. The system works in FU3 full-speed mode by default. This mode can automatically adjust the air baud rate according to the serial port baud rate, and the communication distance is long at a low baud rate. Different modes cannot transmit data to each other. Users can choose the mode according to the actual situation.
When used, there is generally no limit on the number of bytes sent continuously to the module serial port at one time. However, due to factors such as environmental interference, some bytes may be lost when a large amount of data is sent continuously at one time. Therefore, it is best for the host computer to have mechanisms such as response and retransmission to avoid information loss.
1:FU1
This mode is a relatively power-saving mode. At this time, the idle working current of the module is about 3. 6mA. In this mode, the module can also set 8 serial port baud rates as shown in the table below, but the air baud rate is uniformly 250000bps.
2:FU2
This mode is a power-saving mode, and the idle working current of the module is about 80μA. In this mode, the module only supports
The serial baud rate is 1200 bps, 2400 bps and 4800 bps, and the air baud rate is uniformly 250000bps. set to other
The serial port baud rate, the module cannot communicate normally. At the same time, when setting to FU2 mode in FU1 and FU3 modes, the serial port baud rate exceeding 4800 bps will be automatically reduced to 4800 bps. (After testing, there are some bugs when transmitting data in this mode. It is not recommended for users to use FU2 mode for the time being. We will correct the bugs and update the program as time goes by.)
3:FU3
The module works at full speed, and the idle working current is about 16mA. In this mode, the module will automatically adjust the wireless transmission air baud rate according to the serial port baud rate.
